Marcia Hermolin Rabinowits, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist specialized in the treatment on Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) as well as anxiety disorders. She offers evidence-based treatment for OCD including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with the addition of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when needed.

Dr. Rabinowits graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. She then earned her Master of Science in mental health counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She received her Doctor of Clinical Psychology, with an adult emphasis, from Spalding University–School of Professional Psychology. She completed her clinical internship at the Seven Counties Internship Consortium and her post-doctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital in the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Institute.

After completing her training, Dr. Rabinowits worked as a staff psychologist at McLean Hospital – OCD Institute and in private practice. She was an assistant psychologist in the Psychology department at McLean Hospital and an instructor in psychology at Harvard Medical School. From September of 2018 until May of 2020, she was the clinical director of Rogers Behavioral Health Miami.

Dr. Rabinowits recently decided to dedicate her time and knowledge to her private practice, offering specialized treatment to the Miami community.

​

She is a member of the International OCD Foundation and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
